To enter, upgrade your Macintosh to System 7.5 and complete the posted assignment. A new assignment will be posted every few days.
ASSIGNMENT #3:
Send a "Clippings File" with your name, e-mail address and extension to Kate. To send the file using PowerTalk, drop it on top of the enclosed business card. Or, send it via AppleLink to MOZART.
To create a clippings file:
1. Open SimpleText (ST is just one application which supports Drag & Drop)
2. Type your name, e-mail address and extension
3. Highlight the text you just entered
4. Drag the text block onto the desktop.
RESULT: A file entitled "text clipping" should appear on the desktop.
5. To verify that the file does indeed contain the info you entered, double click on the clippings icon.
6. Send the file.
Just for fun, try dragging an image directly from the scrapbook's window into the jigsaw puzzle's window.
Each completed assignment will act as a single entry into the grand prize drawing for the trip to Hawaii. You may submit one answer per assignment. Submissions will be accepted from Apple Internal Types Only. RT airfare from SF , hotel & rental car are included in the grand prize.
